Heinzmann IFT GmbH was founded in 2011 by a group of experts working in the field of engine and filter technology.

"Innovative Filter Technology" is a globally active company specialising in the development, production and sale of high-performance and innovative oil mist separators and blow-by filters for combustion engines and systems in various areas of application. Knowledge acquired over many years of practical experience is brought together in the company in order to optimally fulfil the demands of the market for the product.

HEINZMANN IFT - HISTORY

2011

Foundation

Decades of experience in gas engine development and a visionary endeavour to find future-oriented and sustainable solutions for the engine industry formed the basis of the company Heinzmann IFT GmbH that exists today.

2013

Market entry

Years of research and development work enabled the introduction of a revolutionary and technologically leading solution for crankcase ventilation.

2014

First Patent

Successful granting of far-reaching patent protection as the initial spark for a large number of new intellectual developments within the company.

2015

ISO Certificate

Proof of professional working methods in accordance with the ISO 9001 2015 management system.

2016

30,000 operating hours

A big step towards the future!
For the first time in the crankcase ventilation market segment, HEINZMANN IFT has been able to demonstrate an outstanding maintenance-free service life for its technology in the field.

2017

Marine application

Successful validation of a new approach to oil mist separation for the marine sector.

2018

Hydropower application

Market entry in the field of bearing ventilation for hydropower turbines. Supported by complete systems from HEINZMANN IFT, a power plant with an output of 700 MW has been in operation for years.

2019

Associated gas treatment

Expansion of the scope of application of IFT filtration technology into the associated gas purification sector.

2021

Integration into the HEINZMANN Group

Years of successful co-operation between the companies Heinzmann GmbH & Co. KG and IFT GmbH finally results in the integration of the company into the HEINZMANN Group. At the same time, the company name changes from IFT GmbH to Heinzmann IFT GmbH.

2022

50,000 hours service life

The previously valid maintenance-free service life has been significantly increased once again after the first systems demonstrated service lives of 50,000 operating hours.
