Successful exhibition in Hamburg brings together maritime expertise, innovative technologies and valuable customer dialogue.

Hamburg, September 2026 – The HEINZMANN Group looks back on a successful participation at SMM 2026, held in Hamburg from 1 to 4 September. Under the theme “Complete Maritime Solutions”, an international team of experts presented the combined maritime expertise of the HEINZMANN Group at its stand in Hall A3.

Bringing together the expertise of six specialised companies, the HEINZMANN Group demonstrated a comprehensive portfolio for modern marine engines and vessel applications. The solutions on display included control and monitoring systems, fuel injection technology, high-pressure pipework, fuel skid systems, hydraulic and electric actuators, power management and vessel automation. The portfolio also featured retrofit solutions, technology upgrades and emission reduction technologies.

A particular focus at SMM was on technologies supporting the maritime industry's transition towards alternative fuels and lower-emission propulsion concepts. Highlights included HEINZMANN's alternative fuel injection and admission solutions as well as complementary technologies.

Among these was HEINZMANN's modular low-pressure methanol PFI injector platform, developed for medium-speed engines and designed for both new engines and retrofit projects. Operating at fuel pressures below 30 bar, the platform offers engine manufacturers a flexible route towards methanol dual-fuel operation.

The Group's expertise extends beyond the injector itself. The portfolio also includes double-walled fuel pipe systems for methanol and other alternative fuels, together with a Methanol Fuel Skid designed to condition, monitor and supply methanol according to engine demand from start-up through to full load.

Further technologies presented included solutions for engine control and automation as well as oil mist separation and crankcase pressure control, complementing the Group's approach of providing individual components as well as integrated system solutions for marine applications.

Throughout the four exhibition days, the HEINZMANN stand provided an excellent platform for discussions with customers, partners and industry professionals from around the world. The strong interest in alternative fuels, efficient engine technologies and integrated solutions resulted in numerous valuable technical discussions and new project opportunities.

A particular highlight was the customer Get-Together on the second day of the exhibition. Customers, partners and colleagues from across the international maritime industry came together at the HEINZMANN stand for an evening of networking, personal exchange and informal discussions.

The strong visitor response once again underlined the importance of SMM as an international meeting point for the maritime industry. For the HEINZMANN Group, the exhibition provided an ideal opportunity to demonstrate how the combined expertise within the Group can support customers with reliable, efficient and future-oriented maritime solutions – from individual components to complete systems.
